Friday May, 2nd First Friday
Night Concert
FFNC starts the series off with the band SuperGlide.
Formed in January 1998, this power house quintet decided
they wanted to give audiences something different, unique
and most of all....fun! It's no wonder why they quickly
became one of the Carolina's top drawing groups with
their unique brand of the hits of the seventies, eighties
& today. SuperGlide has been honored to open for
such legendary national artists as: The Little River
Band, The Doobie Brothers, Rick Springfield, Chicago,
Starship, Firehouse, The Voices of Classic Rock &
Bachman Turner Overdrive, just to name a few. Listen
and see the huge song selection of this band at www.superglideband.com.
Friday August, 1st First Friday Night Concert
The second in the FFNC series brings back Brother Dave
which was rained out last year. Collectively the members
of Brother Dave have shared the stage with such greats
as Etta Baker, Chet Atkins, Edgar Winter, Rick Derringer,
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jack Lawrence, and Warren Haynes.
The diversity of their individual backgrounds creates
a musical event that is unique. They have released two
well-received CDs-"Boiled Peanuts" and "Brother
Dave Live at the Double Door". Catch them at clubs,
restaurants, and festivals all over the East coast!
Friday September, 5th First Friday Night Concert
