COVID-19 POLICY McDowell Arts Council Association will rely on the guidelines of the State of North Carolina, the CDC, and the Event Safety Alliance as reference for creating a safe environment during the pandemic. Thank you for helping to keep MACA a safe space in our community!
>EVENTS All patrons (over 18 years of age) attending events on the MACA premises will be required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 (or a valid medical exemption) along with a matching photo ID. All patrons will be required to wear a mask at all times during the performance.
>ARTISAN SHOP Patrons will be asked to wear a mask while shopping in the MACA artisan gift shop. If you do not have a mask with you, we have complimentary disposable masks available at the door.
>CLASSES All classes open to adults 18 years of age and older will require proof of vaccination and will be required to wear a mask. Class attendees under 18 years of age will be required to wear a mask at all times.
Other actions we are taking to remain operational:
• Tickets are being sold at a reduced capacity, photo ID check-in, and contact-free payment option available for every ticket purchased online or in person. • Concessions are not available at this time. • The first row of seating is blocked off so that the audience is placed further back from the stage. • Shows have been selected with small cast sizes. • All staff members at MACA are fully vaccinated.
