McDowell County Potter, Joana Ortiz, will host a decorate-your-own pottery ornament booth for all ages from 10 to 3pm at the 36th Annual Appalachian Potters Market |
DIRECTIONS

Directions from Hwy 70 (traveling east or west):
- Turn to enter W McDowell Jr High School Rd (as if entering West McDowell Middle School sports plaza) and travel past the guard house and continue past the middle school. When W McDowell Jr High School Rd ends, turn right onto McDowell High Dr. An accessible Parking will be on your direct right with signage (next to Entrance #1) and additional parking will be on your continued left adjacent to Entrance #2. Directions from US 221 Bypass (traveling east or west): -Turn to enter McDowell High Dr. at the light beside Bojangles / where the sign for McDowell High School is. Follow McDowell High Drive through the gate and DO NOT turn right onto W McDowell Jr High School Rd. Keep straight forward. The parking lot labeled Entrance #1 (on your right) has accessible parking and the lot adjacent to Entrance #2 (on your left) has additional parking. |

hosted by McDowell Arts Council Association will be Saturday December 7th from 10-4pm
in the Commons Area and Gymnasium of McDowell High School.
Cost:
Entry is $5 for folks 16 years of age or older
Cash or card
All proceeds benefit McDowell County Arts Council
Accessibility:
Anyone utilizing a wheelchair, cane, mobility device, stroller, or with 'bad knees' should Entrance #1 located at the main entrance of the school / front entrance of the Commons Area. This entrance will be clearly marked and has ramps accessing the parking lot. You will be able to access all areas of the market from this entrance while avoiding the stairs located at the Gym Entrance. If you have good knees, a secondary entrance is located on the upper level of the Gym at Entrance #2.

Parking is free at Appalachian Potters Market. *Do not park in or block designated accessibility spaces or lots marked for vendors.
