Tickets are on sale now for the Readers Theater Club production of Barbecuing Hamlet *a farce* by Pat Cook!
Barbecuing Hamlet follows Margo Daley as she navigates directing the Peaceful Glen Memorial Players (housed in a renovated funeral home) as they whisper not to disturb the neighbors, shout over the sounds of the audience eating barbecue, incorporate every sponsor's name into the show, and pull a pizza delivery boy into the fold as they only have 5 actors to round-out the the five-act tragedy - hold on tight! Performances will be May 15, 16, 17 at 7pm and May 18th at 2pm. Tickets are available at mcdowellarts.org | The Greenlee Theatre at MACA is wheelchair accessible. The production is directed by Deborah Lonon and performed by Elizabeth House, Arietta Holloway, Laura Anderson, Tom Harrison, Janice Gravely, Bill Lonon, Barbara Acree, Allyson Greene, Lucy Fresina, Kay House, Michelle Cline, and Lesa Silver. ---- *Update* ASL Interpretation Services will NOT be available for this show due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, we apologize for the inconvenience. |
