Join us for the 8th Annual Micropolitan short film Festival right here in the micropolis of Marion, North Carolina!
This year we are welcoming short films from across North Carolina and the region. we will have our returning partners @mica town brewing beverages available for donation-per beverage, fresh hot popcorn, and an afternoon screening of Stranger with a Camera in partnership with the Beyond 1842 project.
Saturday September 6th at the Marion Train Depot (45 Depot St. Marion NC 28652)
2 pm (free) screening of Stranger with a Camera by Elizabeth Barret.
3-5:30 pm Dinner intermission (5pm Doors & Box office re-open)
5:30-7:30pm Screening of 8 selected films:
•Emotional Support Demon Director Dave Harlequin
•We Begin Again at 9:30 Director Beth Davison
•Above the Mountain Majesties Director Beth Davison
•My Sister Got Shingled Director Silas J Rowland
•Warp Weft Water Weeds Director John Rash
•Cold Blood Director Dragon
•A Real Life Director Director Quincy Moorer, 19 Pictures
•The Encounter Director Shaun Rogers, 19 Pictures
7:30-8pm Screenings will be followed by a brief intermission, awards ceremony and after party
