  • Archivo PDF (abajo)
  • 12 hojas de papel de copia de 8,5 x 11 pulgadas (A4)
  • Grapadora de brazo largo (ejemplo)
Instructions:
  • Imprime la guía a todo color en orientación horizontal
    • Gire a lo largo del borde corto al imprimir o el archivo no se imprimirá correctamente
  • Para encuadernar el kit de herramientas, coloque el kit de herramientas impreso (con la tapa hacia arriba) a lo largo en la grapadora de brazo largo a una profundidad de 14 cm
  • Engrapar dos veces a intervalos uniformemente espaciados a una distancia aproximada de 3 cm y a 3 cm del borde del papel
  • Dobla el cuadernillo por la mitad a lo largo de las grapas
  • Repetir

  • PDF File for individuals
  • 24 pieces of 8.5 x 11 inch (A4) copy paper
  • ​Clear Report Cover (example) 
Instructions:
  • Print 'portrait style'
    • If prompted, flip along the long edge when printing
  • Place in Report Folder
  • Your toolkit is ready to use
  • The toolkit is usable in full color or black and white

What you need to print the toolkit at home (for organizations): 
  • PDF File for organizations 
  • 12 pieces of 8.5 x 11 inch (A4) copy paper
  • ​Long-arm stapler (example)
Instructions:
  • Print the guide in full color 'landscape'
    • Flip along the short edge when printing or the file will not print correctly
  • To bind the toolkit, place the printed toolkit (cover side up) lengthwise into the long-arm stapler at a depth of 14 cm
  • Staple twice at evenly spaced intervals approximately 3 cm apart and 3 cm from the edge of the paper
  • Fold in half along the staples
  • Repeat steps for as many toolkits as needed

Join us for the 3rd Community Forum of 2024 hosted by
Marion East Community Forum.
The Marion East Community Forum is a meeting space for neighbors to gather and build relationships, address shared challenges, and empower community members to build a bright future for everyone in the community. You do not have to live in the East Marion Community to attend, this is a Countywide Forum, all are welcome.
Dinner and childcare are provided.

This month’s forum will feature teaching artists to lead us in 3 resiliency-building art projects - no artistic experience required! These projects are supported by Voz Artistica, a project of West Marion Inc and MACA.

We will be in Marion at the Marion Community Building,
191 N Main St. Marion. Meeting begins with dinner at 5:30pm.

Join us Sunday January 28th from 5-7:30pm at Spillway Bridge & Co. for a collaborative Men of McDowell meeting!

Host: Men of McDowell (a program of West Marion Inc.)

Who is invited to participate: Adult men living in McDowell County, especially BIPOC men, who are invested in improving themselves and their communities

Guest Hosts: Voz Artistica (a project of West Marion Inc. and McDowell Arts Council Association and the National Endowment for the Arts). Kathy Arriola, Rubi Mar, Anna Branam

Teaching Artists:
Joana Ortiz, Kelly Solesby, Nora Mosrie

What are we doing?
Working with four different art mediums (watercolors, charcoal, oil pastels, and clay) and practicing art as a form of self-care and resiliency.

Participants can take home an art kit of their choosing and are invited to participate in a community art show in June, 2024.​​
