-Directions / Address The address is McDowell High School 600 W McDowell Jr High School Rd, Marion, NC 28752 There are two gated entrances to the school 1) Gate 1 off North Main St st the light, next to Bojangles 2) Gate 2 off of HWY 70 W across from Lowes Hardware - Friday December 1st from 7pm-10pm early load-in via Entrance 1 for Commons Area Potters Saturday December 2nd from 6am-9:45pm load-in via Entrance 1 or 3 for all potters - -Parking Friday December 1st: Load-in will only be available from Commons Entrance #1 Saturday December 2nd: There is designated Potter Parking behind the gym with a load-in door at the back entrance of the Cafeteria (look for the signs!) When you arrive, wait your turn to park in one of three spaces at the load-in door. When you are done loading in, please promptly move your car to the adjacent lot so the next potter can use those spaces. Same system for load-out. Thanks! -Set Up (Potters in the Gymnasium) Option A: Load-in and set-up in the gym on Saturday December 2nd between 6am until 9:45am (doors open at 10am) from Entrance #3 (the most convenient to the gym) Option B: Unload your car between 7 and 10pm Friday Dec 1st, (via Entrance 1) leave your stock in the cafeteria overnight, and move it into the gym between 6 and 9am Saturday Dec 2nd. Option C: Let us know if you'd like to be on 'stand-by' to switch for a space in the Commons Area (this year only). -Set Up (Potters in the Commons Area) Load-in and set up Friday December 1st between 7-10pm (From Entrance #1) or between 6-9:45am (doors open at 10am) Saturday December 2nd from Entrance #1 or #3 *Limited highschool volunteers will be available for load-in times, they are there to help so please utilize them / tip them well! -Lunch! Instructions for load-in:
-The potter-parking will have a sign marking it on the high school driveway it is the 'teacher parking' area. -The most important part of this area is the place marked with a star. That is the spot where up to 3 vehicles can park at a time and directly load into the gym. -When you arrive, please wait in the upper parking area close to the star (without blocking anyone in) check in, and wait your turn for these spots. -When you are done loading in please PROMPTLY move your vehicle closer to the lower parking area (closer to the driveway) so that the next person can unload. -Same drill for packing back up.
